I designed a wall mural for the Milwaukee Junction neighborhood of Detroit and collaborated with volunteers from Leo Burnett Detroit, DTE, Summer In The City, and the Friends of Milwaukee Junction to paint it.
Milwaukee Junction is the historic and bustling railroad junction north of Milwaukee Ave. Its intersecting tracks exported the automobile to the world and welcomes visitors to our city. Train lines coming from all directions merge here and create a unique shape which is repeated in the mural. Passersby see its visual rhythm, like a EKG lifeline, or the heartbeat of this vibrant and up-and-coming neighborhood.
